Matthew Curtain
Matthew is a registered building surveyor
and fire safety engineer with more than
14 years experience in the building and construction industry both nationally and internationally.

Matthew possesses extensive knowledge and experience in regulatory compliance of domestic, commercial, industrial and residential care construction. Matt also has experience in project management, town planning, contract administration and risk management across a wide variety of industries.

Ari Loupatatzis
Ari is an assistant building surveyor and registered building inspector with over 13 years experience in building surveying, regulatory consulting and building regulation development. Ari has strong knowledge and experience in assessing regulation compliance of domestic buildings.

Ari specialises in the areas of building siting, footing and foundation systems, timber framing methods and termite
and bushfire protection.

Prior to joining the Watershed Team, Ari was the Executive Officer
of the Building Commission which saw him play an integral part in
the development of building policy in Victoria; advising the Building Commissioner and Minister for Planning on all matters related to building regulatory compliance.

Leanne Platt
Leanne is an assistant building surveyor and registered building inspector with over 10 years experience in local government and private industry. Leanne is based in Traralgon, and heads up the Watershed Traralgon Office operations. Leanne possesses an in-depth understanding of domestic and commercial construction techniques and processes together with extensive building contract administration experience.

Matthew Patterson
Matthew is an assistant building surveyor and fire safety designer with more than 13 years experience in the building and construction industry. Matthew’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Building Surveying and Master of Fire Safety Engineering.

Matthew’s building surveying experience covers a wide variety of commercial and residential projects. His areas of expertise include fire safety engineering, energy efficiency, aged care and acoustics. Prior to joining Watershed Building Consultants, Matthew was the Executive Officer for the Building Commission and Plumbing Industry Commission. He has also held positions with the Australian Building Codes Board and City of Melbourne.

Jon Clampett
Jon is an assistant building surveyor with over
7 years experience in government and private industry. Jon has a strong understanding and
is experienced in assessing regulation compliance of domestic buildings.

Prior to joining the Watershed Team, Jon was a Technical Advisor to the Building Appeals Board (BAB) which saw him provide technical advice to the BAB, industry stakeholders and the public in relation to matters under the Building Act, Building Regulations & Building Code of Australia. As part of his role with the BAB, Jon was responsible for reviewing applications for modifications and compliance determinations and presenting them to the BAB for decision.”

Denise Loupatatzis
Denise is an assistant accountant with over 10 years experience in business accounting. Denise is responsible for managing the Watershed financial accounts.
